COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

AirWay Technologies, Inc. ("AirWay") has been in business since 1992 serving the critical network equipment and service needs of our wireless carrier customers. We remain open during this difficult COVID-19 time period to ensure these same carriers have our full support behind their Communications Infrastructure which has been deemed essential to the country by the Department of Homeland Security.

AirWay wants to assure our customers and suppliers of our continued commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our warehouse operations and field service teams are continuing to operate their normal hours as we are using our best efforts to ship and process orders as quickly and efficiently as we can under these trying circumstances. The health and safety of our employees and their families remains our primary concern and accordingly we have implemented the operating policies and procedures outlined below.

Please reach out to any AirWay team member if we can help you, your operating networks or your infrastructure projects in any way. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation at the federal, state and local levels and have additional contingency plans in place to remain operating if deemed necessary. We thank you for your continued support of AirWay and its employees and remain committed to servicing the network needs of our valued customers.

Best Practices to Limit the Spread of COVID-19

The CDC, the WHO and other federal and state public health experts have recommended the following best practices in order to limit the spread of COVID-19:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. It is especially important to wash your hands: (i) before preparing or eating food; (ii) after using the restroom, leaving other public places or touching public surfaces; (iii) after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing; (iv) after handling your face covering; and (v) after coming into close contact with anyone who is sick or otherwise exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, then use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they are dry.
  • Practice social distancing by maintaining at least six feet of distance between you and other persons, including household members to the extent possible.
  • Cover all coughs and sneezes with a tissue or the inside of your elbow.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a face covering when you are around others; however, use of a face covering is not a substitute for social distancing.
  • Monitor your health daily, watching for signs of fever, cough, shortness of breath or other symptoms of COVID-19. Follow CDC and State of Kentucky guidance if you develop any symptoms.

Illness Reporting

  • If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or any other symptoms of illness, you must notify your Manager immediately and not return to the workplace without the prior consent of your Manager.
  • If you have come into close personal contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, you must notify your Manager immediately after you become aware of such exposure and not return to the workplace without the prior consent of your Manager.

Teleworking

If you are working from home due to illness or a preapproved hardship absence (school closings or other family matters), you must comply with all teleworking arrangements, policies and procedures communicated to you by your Manager or otherwise by AirWay.

Social Distancing Measures in the Workplace

Following the CDC's guidance and other requirements of the State of Kentucky, AirWay requires that you comply with the following protocols and procedures in the workplace:

  • Schedule Changes. AirWay may change your workplace schedule to minimize the number of employees in the workplace at any given time. These changes may include, without limitation, alternate day work schedules and staggered arrival and departure times.
  • No Physical Greetings. You may not shake hands or greet others in any manner that requires physical contact (such as fist or elbow bumps). In the COVID-19 era, this is considered polite, not rude.
  • Six-Foot Distance. You must maintain a six-foot distance from others in the workplace at all times, including, without limitation, when crossing paths, walking near others' desks or workstations or utilizing public spaces. Additionally, you must observe all posted signs limiting occupancy or providing for closure of certain public spaces such as restrooms, breakrooms, kitchens and conference rooms.
  • Gathering Size. In-person meetings or gatherings should be limited to:
    Exec Conference Room No more than twelve (12) people
    West Conference Room No more than four (4) people
    Huddle Room No more than three (3) people
  • Meeting Restrictions. When conducting in-person meetings, participants must at all times: (i) maintain at least a six-foot distance from each other; (ii) comply with any posted capacity limits for public spaces; (iii) use alternate spaced seating arrangements across tables or desks and avoid direct face-to-face positioning; and (iv) accommodate reasonable employee requests to participate remotely.
  • Posted Notices. You must comply with all posted and distributed notices throughout the workplace regarding occupancy limitations or reminding employees about social distancing, hand washing, illness reporting and other safety and health protocols.
Use of Face Coverings in the Workplace

Following the CDC's guidance and other requirements of the State of Kentucky, AirWay encourages you to comply with the following protocols and procedures with respect to the use of face coverings in the workplace:

  • Acceptable Face Coverings. All face coverings used in the workplace must either comply with then-current CDC guidance or meet the following requirements: (i) cover the nose and mouth and fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face; (ii) be secured with ties or ear loops; (iii) include multiple layers of fabric; and (iv) allow for breathing without restriction. Use of face coverings with designs, images, logos or writings that are offensive, harassing or discriminatory or are otherwise in violation of any other AirWay policy are strictly prohibited.
  • Use of Face Coverings. You are encouraged to wear a face covering in the workplace when: (i) attending any in-person meetings; (ii) using any common space (including, without limitation, restrooms, breakrooms, kitchens, conference rooms or lobbies) or equipment; or (iii) in other situations required by state or local law.
  • Accommodation Requests. If you require an accommodation regarding AirWay's face covering policy for reasons based on religion, disability or other grounds protected by federal, state, or local laws, submit to your Manager in writing an accommodation request, which must include a detailed description of the reason for the accommodation. AirWay will use its commercially reasonable efforts to explore potential reasonable accommodations that may overcome any limitations you may have.

Use of a face covering is not a substitute for best practices for limiting the spread of COVID-19, general hygiene or social distancing practices. All employees and their visitors are required to comply with all policies, protocols and procedures set forth in this Policy at all times.

Additional Health and Safety Measures Taken by AirWay

In addition to the implementation of this Policy, AirWay is taking the following additional health and safety measures to protect the health and welfare of you, your co-workers, your visitors and the families of the foregoing:

  • Visitor Restrictions. All visitors to AirWay's facility will be required to complete a Visitor Health Screening Questionnaire and Visitor Acknowledgement, Liability Waiver and Release of Claims form prior to gaining access to the facility. Any visitor may be denied access to AirWay's facility by management.
  • Business Travel. Until further notice, AirWay is suspending business air travel by its employees, including to applicable trade shows. You may submit requests for business air travel to your Manager, and such requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Cleaning. In addition to the deep cleaning of AirWay's facility that takes place twice per week, all frequently touched surfaces (such as kitchen counters, appliances, commonly used equipment, bathroom sinks/faucets, door handles, etc.) will be wiped down twice per day with sanitizing cleaning supplies.
  • Hand Sanitizer. AirWay will provide access to hand sanitizer throughout its facility for use by employees and visitors. Employees must not remove hand sanitizer containers from their locations within the workplace.
  • Health Checks. AirWay may conduct daily or periodic health checks (including temperature checks) with respect to employees or visitors in the AirWay's workplace.
